Just who is responsible for 
all this bearness?

"My name is Natalie, and I talk to bears."

Even though John and El are the stars of Bear Time, I'm the one who runs the show. Bear Time is a product of my overactive imagination, my experiences as an artist and a teacher, and my love for children's books (thanks mom!) 

There are five other people who should share the credit/blame for making Bear Time happen. First, Johanna and Etienne whose own talkative bears and photographs inspired my John and El. Second, Erin and Mark who said 
"Hey, why don't you put the Bears on-line!" 
Finally, my husband, Steve who has come up with some GREAT bear dialog and has supported me through all this bearness.

To the grown-ups who enjoy Bear Time:
Bear Time is a labor of love. I am not sponsored by a company, and I don't receive any compensation for the art and stories on my web site.
