3. Open a paper clip to form an L
4. fit one end of the paper clip between the pompom body and the legs of the spider
5. Tie a length of yarn to the other end of the paper clip and hang your spider mobile! If you don’t celebrate Halloween, or would like to use this craft at another time of year you can make the following changes to create a Creepy Bug Mobile: Substitute Bats with Butterflies cut from tissue paper (try multicolor layers of tissue paper) with yarn antennas.
Instead of Ghosts, make Woolly Caterpillars by spiraling a colorful, fat pipe cleaner around a straw and gluing on two googly eyes.
Substitute Jack-o-Lanterns with Lady Bugs! Take a 3/4” red pompom and glue on black dots (made by hole punching black construction paper) and 3 pieces of black yarn (for legs.)
