John Bear
I'm a little white bear.
"Ich bin ein kleiner weißer Baer" That's German. I might be a Polar Bear, except I live in Ohio, and I  don't like fish.  I'm a very polite bear. I like to pet the kitties. I like stories, but I don't know how to read very well yet.  Sometimes El reads stories to me.  I like that! Sometimes I get to BE in stories.  I like that a lot!

 

El Bear 
I'm a big brown bear. 
"When did we get a  merry-go-round?"  My real  name is Eilatan, but that's  too long so everyone calls me  El.  I was bought a few  years after John, but  because I'm taller and because girls mature faster than boys (I once heard Natalie say that, and I believe her) I'm the older bear.  I take care of John when Natalie isn't home. I help her find John when he is playing under the bed.  I also like to read to John and explain the hard words. Of course, Natalie tells us stories too. I like it when she tells stories about me! And John.
